Here is the sciara (sciara f. (geol.) volcanic scoria).
it is a tongue of rock climbing the side of mount
delle felci, on the east side of Filicudi Island.
There is a dangerous path some people used to cross the Sciara, yet
since some years it has become very dangerous.
